• Hello,

I’m currently using your extension on my WordPress site, and I have a question regarding the use of image variants through Cloudflare.

I’ve uploaded my images at a resolution of 2560px wide, and after applying the extension, I noticed that the site is forcing the images to load in 2560px resolution by default. I was under the impression that with the variants feature, the extension would automatically adjust the image size based on the user’s device.

Did I misunderstand how the feature works, or is there something wrong in the way I’ve configured the extension? Could you please help me troubleshoot this issue?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

    Best regards,

    Vincent Fleurette

    Hi @odysseyphotos,

The plugin will attempt to pick up the image dimensions from the img tags. Your images have a set width="2560" and height="1707" values, so those get used on the image.

You can try to enable the page parser option in the plugin settings and disable the “Use img width size”, this will attempt to override the values. But I can see that you are also explicitly setting full size images on all elements, so that might not help, unfortunately.

    Best regards,
    Anton
