Had a look, but Desktop CLS is but 0,03 (under lab data, the CLS for origin summary is 0,28 but that’s irrelevant because is is an aggregate of all your site’s pages of the last 28 days)?
Yep. It had been about 0,2 before I installed the plugin. Gtmetrix shows 0.36 for this page. Pages without videos are about 0.03.
Thank you for reply
Google Pagespeed sees 0.04 now;

GTmetrix indeed sees more, but none of the DOM nodes mentioned as contributing to CLS are related to LYTE:

So I have no idea what the issue is/ how to fix I’m afraid.
Yes, Lyte loads later and shifts the screen down. Perhaps that is the problem? What do you think?
Thanks for your help
Actually, no; LYTE uses a placeholder of the exact same size to avoid content shifts, you can even see (part of) that in the gtmetrix speed visualization:

Pagespeed shows there is a shift. Can’t attach screenshot here
Don’t see a layout shift on Pagespeed either I’m afraid;

How can I attach a screenshot here?
Upload it somewhere (I use imgur.com) and then paste the image URL and/ or add the image URL in <img src="">.
No idea why you’re seeing this while I am not I’m afraid.
I retested on webpagetest.org -on a 3G connection to make things more obvious- where you can see a filmstrip view at a 60FPS interval and even there I do not see what you saw on Pagespeed Insights:

Conclusion: I have no idea why LYTE would cause CLS here and I have no idea how to solve that for your, sorry ..
Thanks for your help anyway
I’ve noticed that the same happens with a different site. CLS in desktop decreases little by little. Was 0.01 and now it is 0.07 already.

If a video is placed lower then CLS is better. For example https://sorokanews.ru/2021/02/05/maksakova-zakatil-isteriku-v-efire-shou-pust-govoryat-video/
