I installed Advanced Custom Fields: Extended and used Code Editor. At first it appeared in Dynamic Tags using elementor pro and I entered the code I need to use from the Checkfront booking system. But then Code Editor disappeared from the Dynamic Tags and has not returned. All other tags are there.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the feedback!

It looks like this topic is the same as your previous thread from 8 hours ago: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/acf-extended-code-editor/

If that’s the case, please avoid creating multiple threads for the same issue, just answer on same one, it’s easier to keep track of the discussion that way.

Regarding your issue, it looks like it’s a problem with the Dynamic Tags feature from Elementor. Have you tried to create an another Code Editor field (with a diffrent name), to see if the new one appears in the list?

    Regards.

    Hello again,

I’m not a Elementor user, but I checked their “Dynamic Tags” documentation and it looks like Elementor does not supports all native ACF Fields Types, but only some specific: https://elementor.com/help/elementor-acf/

For example there is no “Group”, “Flexible Content” etc… Custom ACF Fields Types added by ACF Extended (such as Code Editor) aren’t supported too.

It looks like you were using a basic field type such as “Text” or “Textarea” in ACF (which are supported by Elementor), and then switched to “Code Editor”, which made the field disappear from the list.

A solution would be to use the [acf field="my_code_editor"] shortcode to display the Code Editor field value in Elementor. See shortcode documentation.

Other than that, you could try to reach the Elementor support or check their documentation. I’m sure they have a feature or a solution to display custom script on front-end like you try to do.

    Hope it helps!

    Have a nice day!

    Regards.

I have never used this before, I thought that topics were individual so one went to elementor and one to acf for instance. I thought they were run by them individually.

Oh I see. No problem. Well here, it is the forum dedicated to the ACF Extended plugin. You’ll find the Elementor support forum here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/elementor/

But if you’re using Elementor Pro and want to reach their support, you should probably use their dedicated support on their website.

Regarding your issue, please check my answer above as I explain you the cause of the problem, some alternative solution and some other hints.

    Hope it helps!

    Have a nice day!

    Regards.
