code inserted in footer, not head. embedded links in plugin

Thanks for the comment. The plugin is a bit older, and was maybe originally written before the asynchronous code (when Google used to recommend placing before the footer). I don’t think the placement of the script tag makes a big difference (see http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6824095/best-place-to-insert-the-google-analytics-code). If you’d like to submit a code fix for it however, I’d be happy to review it.
