    Hi,

Not so much a problem, just a query. Fantastic plugin by the way and at the end of the month, I am going to make a donation.

So my question…I added a bit of CSS onto the Frontend.css file (css code I actually took from one of your replies on here..just to change the colour of the button). I also took away the file name from the button, using the plugin editor. This was about a week ago.

Just 10 minutes ago…the colours changed back and the file name came back too. I downloaded the css file and my code had gone.

Not a problem…just added it back in, took away the filename bit of code again and all is well. Was just wondering…what could have caused this to happen? I didn’t update anything…nothing…was just working away, checking links, and all of a sudden, it was back to the default colours.

    More curious than anything else.

    Thanks.

    Hey there,

The WordPress team just released some automatic updates including an update for Download Monitor to patch a security issue. Your website just patched itself keeping it safe and secure but while doing so removed the adjustments you made to the core plugin.

It’s always better to put custom CSS in your theme instead of in the plugin. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Kind Regards,

Thanks for the super quick response…and that makes sense. Will follow your advice about the custom CSS.

    Thank you 🙂
