Hi, I’ve been using this plugin successfully for a few years but recently I’ve found a problem.

The way I’m using it is on a geodirectory site. Each listing has a gravity form where visitors can leave feedback on the listing. Your plugin then displays the count of each type of feedback for that listing.

Reps from the listed organisation can claim and edit the listing and I’ve found that when they edit, the code for displaying the results reverts to plain text. It’s fine if I edit through the backend, but any time another user edits, the code changes to plain text.

This only seems to have started in the last couple of months so I’m not sure if something has changed in the plugin? Grateful for any help you can offer.

  • Hi! René from GravityWP here: It sounds like the editor front-end that the organisation uses to edit the listing is somehow converting the shortcode to the text. Perhaps a very active sanitization function that is in the way.

The plugin itself only triggers when the shortcode is called and has no influence on the text or the way it’s represented.

Thanks, René, this got me started on the right path and it’s all sorted now. I appreciate your help 🙂
