Hi code,
We took a look at the link you sent, but the extra code isn’t appearing for us.
This is how it appeared for us:
Can you send us a screenshot of what you’re seeing and let us know what browser you’re using?
I have the same issue on my website
Hi iandjmj,
Could you please share the link to your website and the shortcode you used? That way we can verify the issue and provide you with more details about why it occurred.

About 2/3rd’s down the home page. My theme has given me widgets for your plugin, so I haven’t used a shortcode.
Just checked the widget and it does ask for a shortcode, this is the one that is there
[select-faq faq_id=’1088′]
Hi landjmj,
Thanks for the link to your page, we definitely see the extra code you’re talking about.
Would you be able to let us know the name of the widget you’re using, so that we can try to recreate the same problem on our test server?
Hi the widget came with the theme I use: Native Church by Imithemes. The widget wasn’t there until I installed your FAQ. Then it was!
There are two new widgets, the one I used is called UFAQ FAQ Category List
the other one is called UFAQ FAQ ID List
Hi Iandjmj,
For the “UFAQ FAQ Category List” widget that you have in your footer, did you enter the category slugs in the “FAQ Category List:” section?
For example:

Hi,
The UFAQ Category list widget isn’t in the footer. The theme I have uses widgets for everything on the page. It doesn’t have a category list like that above. All it has is a place for the UFAQ shortcode, and a place for the name.
Maybe your theme’s page builder isn’t inserting the shortcodes properly. What happens if you just insert the shortcode manually (e.g. in a text area if your theme’s page builder has one of those).
