    Hello,

I want to insert a piece of code into my website that will allow feature images to appear below the titles for every post on the site, but am not sure how to do this. I’ve installed the code snippet plugin, but no piece of code I have found works. Is there a correct code or an alternative method to make this happen?

    website in question is https://www.omegametroid.com

    Thank you for any help!

  • Hi @andysp99

At first, thank you for choosing our theme and service.

Unfortunately, it’s not possible in the free version of the theme as it’s a pro feature.

    Kind Regards

    Hi,

There is no piece of coding that I can insert? I don’t want to upgrade solely for one feature. I’m sure there must be alternate options?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Actually, a code snippet can’t do that trick. First, you need to download a child theme – https://wp-royal.com/themes/ashe/docs/#childthemes then you need to copy folders and file “templates” > “grid” > “blog-grid.php” from Parent (Ashe) theme to your child theme. After that, you need to edit this file and move the “post-media” div under the “post-title” div. Last, upload this child theme on your website, install and activate it.

It’s a bit advanced technique, but there is no other way.

    Kind Regards
