Coding Issue on custom header php

I tried to change the code on the custom-header.php. Before I did anything I copied the original code into a text editor just in case I did something wrong. What I was trying to do didn’t work, so I copied the original back, but now the whole thing is messed up. I don’t know how to get it back to the original.

It says “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in …wp-content/themes/twentythirteen/inc/custom-header.php on line 229

But yet, when I have the code in the text editor, the code only goes to line 227. There is no line 229! 🙁

Can someone please help me?
