Collapse is Not Mobile
-
Hi there Tobias,
Wow it looks like you’re really busy there. Well I have about had it with my table, don’t worry, it’s not your fault. I have looked everywhere for a solution and I can not find one. I tried to search first on the this forum, and there was like 600 pages for the term “Collapse”, I ran out of steam after the first page, please forgive me.
So anyways, I have the latest version of WordPress, running a Moesia Theme, which your plugin says is compatible with, and is one of the reasons that I installed it in the first place, also it’s the best plugin that I can find that can basically do what I need it to do, except for one thing.
Everything works on it, the flip and scroll. I have tried :
[table id=1 responsive=scroll /]
[table id=1 responsive=flip responsive_breakpoint=device /]
[table id=1 responsive=flip responsive_breakpoint=all /]On the flip for “all” devices, the table doesn’t reach it’s full width across the container, and so basically the only thing that does work is the scroll and the flip “device”.
The collapse is the only thing that does not work, and I have pulled all my hair out trying to figure it out, while you could probably solve it with a simple snippet or something.
Ok so here is the link that the table is on : http://kingsmangold.com/table/
The thing is that is looks wonderful and great on a laptop or desktop, I assume they are basically both the same, however when it comes time to view it on an i6s Plus phone, then it is a complete mess, well not that much, but all the lettering is vertical instead of horizontal, the way it should be, and there is no plus icon to press to drop it down in order to see more. It’s the weirdest and most frustrating thing in the world for me right now.
I have deactivated all the plugins I thought would be causing it to look like that on mobile view, and it still does it. If you look at it on a phone you will see what I mean, at least on the iphone it does, but it’s just an iphone so it should display properly.
I have placed the shorthand code within the text section in my editor. I don’t really understand how I could take out multiple instances of jquery in my header.php code, I stay away from messing around too much with my own code since last time I did that, through some advice I saw online, it totally made my entire site disappear, I totally freaked man, and I had to go into my hosting and replace the file on my server. I think maybe that might be it, since it’s the only thing I refuse to touch, or something having to do with my theme, but I have no idea what.
I am not using colspan or rowspan, I just don’t know what the deal is. Here is the debugging information as well :

· WP_POST_REVISIONS: trueI completely uninstalled the plugin because I didn’t want my table numbers increasing in the shorthand code, so it’s at table id 1.
If you want I could send you more donation funding and give you the admin permissions to look around and see what you can come up with, I really need this to work, seems like everything I do is somehow tainted, I would at least like for this to work for me.
Thank you in advance, Marc
