Collapse Menu Items in Menu Settings

What I would like to see in WordPress is an option to collapse / Expend the menu items under Appearance/Menu

When you set up a menu and sub menus, if you have an extensive menu bar with top item menus, sub menus etc, the setting page becomes over crowded. When you try to add a new one the new item goes to the bottom and if you try to move it up it becomes a real pain. Having an option of collapsing menu item groups (e.g. a main menu with it’s sub menus) would make life so much easier.
