Color behind Header text

Hi there, I am very new to this but I am having trouble figuring out how to change the look of the bar at the top of this theme which contains the Header text. I would like to at the very least change the background color of it. I see that others have done this on their sites with this theme, so I’m assuming it’s something fairly easy that I’m missing.
