It looks like I cannot insert more than a certain amount of characters for a column that I have called “Description”, it cuts off the paragraph that I insert. Is there any way to work around this limitation ?
    2) Is there a way to have the + icon collapse a column on the desktop view ?

    3) Why in the world can’t you have both word wrap and scrollable at the same time ?
This does not make any sense ?
I invested 3 weeks researching tables and now I feel like I got burnt pretty bad.

    Hi, snowfox6
    1.
I guess that you probably have an Excel file linked to a datatable, just to confirm for the table type?

Could you maybe show us a screenshot, to make sure we understood about the cut off of the paragraph?
If you mean that the long text displays as cut with “three dots”, like on my screenshot here

in that case you can either set “Limit table width to display width”, in table Display tab,
    and set a larger width of the column, so that more text can show;
    or you can use word-wrap.
    2.
Yes, you can make the responsive behavior with the + symbol collapsable on Desktop,
if you increase the width for tablet to a very high number, like 4000 pixels,
in main plugin settings / Tablet width,
then all screens with lower width will behave as responsive.
    3.
Our developers have encountered issues when they enabled word wrap with horizontal scroll in the past,
and a lot of conflicts with various themes – so for the time being that combination is disabled as built-in feature.

We can only try to devise some custom CSS for you,
if you could send us a link to the page where the table is,
and we will see what we can do?
    Thank you
