Is there a way to change the way columns are arranged so that instead of items being listed down a column and then wrap to the top of the next, that items get listed across the columns?

thanks for using my plugin! Do you mean that the names word be from left-to-right instead of top-down (in columns)?

If so, at this moment there is no built-in solution. But it still is possible with css. Are you experienced with CSS? In the FAQ there is a list of ID’s and classes you could use for this: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/name-directory/#can%20i%20customize%20the%20appearance%20%2F%20styling%20of%20the%20name%20directory%3F
