I updated the plugin and I do not have the lines so I changed the plugin here and origin.
the plugin should work without any changes.

yes but which shortcodes?
I use the shortcode to bbpress forum [bbp-forum-index] and the shortcode bbp pack style for the last 10 messages [bsp-display-topic-index show = ’10 ‘template =’ short ‘].
Thanks for your patience – your help let me work out what was wrong – I hadn’t allowed for other languages.
I’ve released version 1.6 which should work across multiple languages.
