I am trying to use ColumnFilter with ColVis and I cannot get it to work. I have read all of the previous responses regarding conflicts between ColVis and ColumnFilter and have attempted the following:
    – I added a footer row and checked the box in the table options page
    – I placed this command in the Custom Commands text field:
    “dom”: ‘WC<“colvis_clear”>lfrtip’
    – My shortcode reads: [table id=4 datatables_colvis=”true” datatables_columnfilter=”true” /]

Here is the link to my table: http://dev4900.mtzionarts.org/dance/summer-dance/summer-dance-classes?preview=true&preview_id=221&preview_nonce=d79c337618

I have also tried deactivating the ColVis and just using ColumnFilter and it does not seem to work by itself. I also tried ColumnFilterWidget as a Alternative and I cannot get that to work.

Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

From what I remember, the ColumnFilter JS code needs the “Search/Filter” function to be enabled. Could you please enable that checkbox?

    Regards,
    Tobias
