    Hi,

    I’m using Generatepress as theme.
I wanted to try Coblocks grid and this is what I have if I try to insert a row with 2 columns : https://imgur.com/a/nanHMPk

As you can see, each columns should take 50% of the width. But it’s not.
And using the “width” setting of the column does not change anything.

Same problem occurs with one or more columns. Example with 4 columns : https://imgur.com/a/2lC5l8g (here I tried to expand the column with the drag&drop feature)

Any idea ? There is no JS error.
I tried on both Safari (I’m on MacOS) and Chrome.

    Thanks.

Hi @pumpk1in, I hope you are doing great.

The best way for adjusting columns is by adding a Column block instead of a Row block.

Here is a video that explains the process:

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aAchMLCyJL-fqwiBUPFdu4thd6XpKLUz/view

The Row block is better used when you want to adjust the block size manually, by default the row is taking up the size of your content and since you have no content inside it, it defaults to the smallest size.

Therefore for your use case, you would be much better of using a Column block instead.

I hope this helps, have a nice day,

This issue has persisted since 2.1.0… I have continued to wait for the fix. Rows with columns worked perfectly before (which is why I’m keeping my sites on 1.26.3).

Sorry @gdandrija, your answer is insufficient and seems like you’re trying to avoid addressing the real problem.

    Hey @dustinwstout and @pumpk1in

I’m terribly sorry for the inconvenience, I did not realize that this issue is related to a bug reported earlier.

I can see that an issue has been opened to our developers on GitHub, you can check the progress below:

    https://github.com/godaddy-wordpress/coblocks/issues/1613

I’m not sure why it has not been addressed already although it was reported initially when you reached out to us, but I can assure you that our developers will review it.

Thanks for the info, have a nice day,
    Andrija
