Marking this resolved and the solution is below as it could happen in the Core Version as well.
With Yoast (3.0.3) it is giving me a console error, which is breaking everything.
If I disable Yoast SEO for coupons it works.
Since the print template by default is set to no index Yoast SEO does not work for coupons nor does it have hooks for the plugin to work either on that template. It can be disabled.
To disable it, check this box and save:
Yoast SEO > Post Types > Coupons > “Yoast SEO Meta Box:”
