Hi,

based in the description I was hoping this plugin would work with Bricks builder. But as soon as I try to edit a popup with Bricks, I receive the following error:

Invalid post type.
This message was triggered by WordPress Core.

Call stack:
wp_die()
wp-admin/edit.php:18
Query Monitor

→ I did enable the custom post type in the bricks settings
→ I’ve also used the “Content Only” template
→ I’ve also looked through the settings and enabled the blocks builder

Do you have any ideas or insights whether or not it works with Bricks Builder? Thanks!

Hi @psteinweber,

Thanks for the question!

The popup editor can’t be used with most frontend builders like Bricks. This is because our popup custom post type doesn’t have a frontend URL slug, which might be a requirement for Bricks.

We suggest creating your layout as a template and then adding the template shortcode (if it’s an option) directly to the popup editor.

@psteinweber – We use Bricks ourselves, I’ve experimented and have dev branches to try and get this working.

Honestly I’m not sure the Bricks team wants this to work if I’m being honest.
