Combining different taxonomies in posts shortcode

In one of the new shortcodes I’m brewing I would like to try something new with the “Posts” shortcode. I’m trying to combine different taxonomies, so that I can show a list of posts based on the following criteria, for example:

All posts that are in:
– The category “News”
– And have the post tag “Sony”

That way, only news blog posts related to “Sony” would appear in my posts list. I tried entering the taxonomy IDs of the news category and the Sony tag, but that didn’t work out for me. Is there a way of making a list of posts appear that belong to a specific category AND tag?
