Exclude caching of comment and article ‘voting’

Hello,
We’ve noticed that the Rating System plugin (like/dislike/votes on posts and comments) is also being cached. This makes some visitors think the feature is not working, when in fact they’re just seeing a cached page.
Is there a way to exclude something like this? The plugin is Rating System and we’re allowing anonymous votes (www.caymancompass.com – click on any article), so users don’t have to be logged in to rate a comment/post.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
