    Hi

    Thanks for a great theme

I think I stumpled over a tiny bug… The post comment textarea html, sets the autocomplete attribute to “nope”, while the only valid options are “on” and “off”. See below:

    <p class="comment-form-comment"><label for="comment" class="screen-reader-text">Kommentar</label><textarea autocomplete="nope" id="e5ee7999a9" name="e5ee7999a9" cols="45" rows="8" aria-required="true">

    https://www.w3schools.com/tags/att_input_autocomplete.asp

That breaks otherwise valid html output.

    Is https://validator.w3.org/ right?

    Best regards
    Bjarne Oldrup

    Hi there,

That’s actually not in the theme: https://github.com/tomusborne/generatepress/blob/2.2.2/comments.php#L111

Perhaps you have a plugin installed which is added that value?

    Let me know 🙂

    Hello Tom,
I am just writing to find out how I can get rid of comment section
that is seen in just one of my posts. The first post that was created using Generate Press theme has “Leave a Comment” section with name*, email* and website to be filled in this form prior to submission. All other posts don’t have this Leave a Comment dialog box underneath their respective posts.
I had selected no Comments in the settings under writing and I am not sure why one post (first one in series of posts) has this comment section.

Also, I am unable to participate in WP support forum since there is no create a new support topic button or text to click to start new Support ticker here. Hence, this feature would have to be enabled to take part in any Support-related activities for Generate Press theme.
    Thanks!
