Now I have the same problem with the new wordpress update 4.9.6. The cookie checkbox does not appear. I installed version 1.19 of Baskerville. Would an update be the solution (I don’t have a child theme this is why I have not done the update yet)?
Hi @aliney,
I’ve submitted an update to Baskerville that makes the cookie checkbox appear in the comments form. It should be live within the hour.

Hi @anlino,
The checkbox is there, but the text of the GDPR is not displayed.
Test it, maybe a special case (I’m testing on the local server so as not to affect the work site).
Hi @kronos1705,
Sounds like a cache issue – the labels were hidden in the previous version of the stylesheet. Is it visible now?

The cache is not used.
Checked today, here’s a screenshot:

Just checked the theme Hamilton:

There everything is displayed correctly.
I’m testing on the local host, the work site is not updated yet. I’m afraid. 🙂

Hello,
Everytime I try to install a plugin for my comment form, which is supposed to create a checkbox, the checkbox is not visible (should be visible above the “submit/send” button). I tried different plugins ( subscribe comments or plugins for GDPR Compliance). I have no idea why the checkbox never appears..? I appreciate every information. Thank you!
