Can someone help with a problem I’m having with both of my blogs that run under wordpress.
Two weeks ago, I noticed that when I or anyone else commented on a post, it would take at least 20 to 30 seconds for the comment to post, compared to the usual 3 to 5 seconds..
I’m not sure if this is wordpress or my host.
But in one situation, in one of my blogs, I have the ajax comment, and because it takes so long to comment, it gives the following error pop up,
Comment Error: Timeout
The server is taking a long time to respond. Try again in a few minutes
My host is 1and1.com, and my previous version was 2.1.2, and I just upgraded to 2.2, but the comments are still taking too long to process, around 25 seconds..
