Comment Link not working

    Hello, we are using WP Show Posts plugin and have checked the “Include comments link” checkbox on the “Meta” tab of the WP Show Posts page.

    The “Leave a comment” link does show up, however the link does not go anywhere. It just goes back to the original post, but without a link.

    How do I get commenting to work, so people can actually leave comments?

    The page with the problem is not published yet so I cannot link to it.

    In any case it seems clear that it is not a problem with WP Show Post. This problem only happens when we use our homebrew custom theme. When we use a different theme the problem disappears. Oh well.
