• Hello,

so far i worked with products and basic pages. Now I created a blogarticle and have the problem, that user can leave comments. Due to german law adjustments, right now I dont want to have a comment section.

I went to settings > discussion and disabled comments.

But still my commentsection is available. What could be the issue?

  • The options at Settings > Discussion apply to NEW posts and pages, although one option is for closing comments automatically after a number of days. But each post/page can be changed individually.
The theme should show any existing comments, even if comments are closed. But the theme should not showing the comment form on a post/page where comments are closed.

Thank you, deleting and re-opening the page really helped
