Commenters contributing to progress bar?

    Hi,

    Not sure if this is the right forum so I apologize if it’s not.

    I’m trying to figure out how to let commenters contribute to a progress bar on an individual post which a contributor posted with maximum value. Basically, like gofundme’s layout but not dealing with any money at all. I know there are themes that do this that I can buy and customize, but I really want to build and customize it all myself I just don’t know where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
