I have turned it on in all the normal spots,
2 spots?
1. Settings –> Discussion
2. Then where you create/edit posts or pages in admin, check if you have ticked comments for your posts/pages in the “discussion” box below the editor. If you don’t see the “discussion” box there, in the ‘screen option’ dropdown field (located near the top right), there are tick-boxes to show the ‘discussion’ box for the posts/pages. Tick mark it. In the ‘discussion’ box below the post/page editor, you can then allow/disallow comments for the page.
Yes, its checked in both spots. Under Dission, and under the settings in the individual post and page.
the link “leave a comment” is THERE… but when you click it, nothing happens.
OK… update I switched BACK to my theme BARD PRO… the comments are working and enabled on my PAGE, but not My post!

make sure they are anabbled both places in posts as well.

Hello!
I have been trying for 3 full days to get my commenting to work and i’m stumped.
I have turned it on in all the normal spots, and its checked in all areas.
I was using ASHE PRO, but decided to completely scrap and it and start again with Bard Pro theme, hoping that would help. STILL no ability to comment, but its showing “0 comments” at the top, but not displaying the section where comments can be left.
I have disabled all plugins, installed Health Check, and changed my theme to Twenty-nineteen. The tab “Leave a comment” has now appeared, but when you click on it– still nothing.
Please help!!!
