    Hi

    I receive comments from a variety of people that show up on my dashboard but do not show up in my moderation email inbox. I have checked my settings and have confirmed that the site’s comments check box has been made indicating that the comments to the blog posts will be sent to my inbox awaiting moderation – yet they never do. They just show up on the dashboard. Also, the comments always refer to one post title even though I post from Monday to Friday under various post titles. This happened before and only stopped when I reduced the time to post to 2 days.

    So what is going on here? Am I being spammed? The comments seem to be legit.

    First off, go to Dashboard – Settings – Discussion Make “Email me whenever Anyone posts a comment” is checked

    If that setting is okay, ask your hosting provider what’s going on (e.g., if any of their SMTP filtering rules have changed recently; If for some reason your notification emails have been simply queued. etc.) – Also ask them if you need to setup SMTP. If you do, then you can use a plugin for it, for example: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/postman-smtp/
