BP Docs does support comments on Docs, and the “Leave a reply” form should appear on the doc view, unless the author has set the “Who can post comments on this doc?” access setting to restrict commenting on the doc.

This sounds like a FORUM.
Someone posts a TOPIC [your DOC]
others REPLY or COMMENT (same thing) to the TOPIC.
Is the REPLY or COMMENT via email?
Sorry for the delay, I didn’t get a notification that anyone had replied to this. I’m just looking at this again, so the user can leave a ‘reply’ on the document but it just doesn’t display under the document and says there are ‘no comments’. However, as an Admin i can see everything including the comments that were left. Really strange, everything is approved in the backend there are no restrictions on comments. It’s clearly a permission issue but i just don’t know where to fix.
Also i just created a new test ‘post’, and left a comment which can be viewed by admin and my test user account.
