Comments and Nav Links

Two questions, mostly unrelated. The blog in question can be found here:

1. I have popup comments turned on, but the link to them, which appears underneath the embedded video, only appears on the index page. On single post archive pages the link simply vanishes. Little help?

2. Once those links have been restored, I would like to add navigation links that read:

< Previous | Next >

to single post archive pages (not the index page), on either side of the metadata line. In other words, what currently reads:

Face #2 | 1 Comment

will read:

< Previous | Face #2 | 1 Comment | Next >

I can post my code as it currently stands if that helps. Any assistance would be much appreciated.
