Comments appear only using the shortcode

    Hi,

    I’ve installed the plug-in, logged in, made sure that “Use Disqus Comments on” is set to “All blog posts” and the other options are mostly default otherwise. However, the comments show up only when I use the [js-disqus] shortcode, and not automatically on all posts. I’ve read something about “disabling shortcodes” but couldn’t find anything in the settings.

    Can anyone help me out a bit? I don’t have a link to the website as it’s local at the moment.

    Hi lostkauze,

    Please verify that you enabled comments for the posts/pages. Are you able to see default WordPress comments when you deactivate our Disqus plugin?
