I think your assasin has likely failed it’s mission.
Disable all plugins to start, remove any comments with links that may be bad, and I would never rely on any plugin to filter all spam…all the spam writers have to do is look at the publicly available code of the plugin and write a workaround…moderate all comments and use the built in word blacklist to not allow certain text in strings such as:
www
http
ftp
url
and any others you wish to go straight to spam.
Before reactivating plugins make sure they are compatible with the latest version of WorpdPress (because you are using this version for security purposes) and your up to date theme.

When somebody tries to post a comment, they get a page saying that they can’t…in DUTCH. All my settings are for English, comments enabled without requiring registration. Spam-assassin the only plug-in enabled.
How do I fix this?
