I was hoping that having upgraded to version 2.7 this problem would solve by itself… but it didn’t.
It stills publish the new posts with comments closed, when there’s no indication for them to be, and even on the preview appear open.
Does anyone have a clue?
I’m quite desperate…

It’s not theme-related for what I can see from now.
I’ll try various re-installations and get back to you..
Seems to be a plugin-related problem. Try de-activating yours.

Hi, I have a strange problem.
I have all my comments on moderation, but by default the comments and pings are open.
When I write a new post, their boxes are checked (thus allowed), when I make a Preview of the post, the comment box appears correctly.
But when I publish the post, the comments are closed, and I have to edit each post and activate them again, so they can work. It’s pretty annoying.
I can’t understand why this happens, all the optiones are correct… and it worked pefectly on 2.3.2, but now after installing 2.6.1 it doesn’t.
