Hi @simpleemeg,
Please make sure you check the Allow people to submit comments on new posts checkbox on the Settings, as seen in this screenshot.
And also, make sure the Allow comments checkbox is not unchecked on the post editor. Please refer to this screenshot.
If you have done them and the Comment section is still not showing up, then probably there’s a plugin that causes the issue. Please try to deactivate all the plugins temporarily, except the plugin. If it solves the issue, then please reactivate the plugins one by one to see which plugin is causing the problem.
I hope it will help. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any further queries.
Kind regards,
Herman 🙂
Thank you! It is the elementor plugin causing the problem, how do I fix this? I want to be able to use elementor
Hi @simpleemeg,
I check your site and it seems the Comment section is now showing up and the Elementor plugin still active. Have you solved it?
Kind regards,
Herman 🙂
I installed a third party plugin to get that comment section. I still can’t get the default WordPress comment section to work
Hi @simpleemeg,

I would prefer not to use the third party plug in. I just submitted a ticket through the support portal. Thanks
