Comments field missing on new posts since WP5

    Hi,
    Since I updated my WordPress site to 5.0, the comments field is missing on newly published articles. On my existing articles the comments field is still available. Under Discussion Allow people to comment is checked. Allow comments is checked on the Document settings.
    I disabled all plugins, without any positive result. Then I installed the healt check plugin and in troubleshooting mode the comment field is back. Seems an issue with the theme. Please help me resolve the issue.

    I didnt, its was an issue by the theme and that theme wasn`t getting any updates unfortunately. So I changed the theme.
