Have you tried:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
Hi esmi, thanks for responding. When I change back to the Twenty Twelve theme, comments do display on the post page. Howevever, aren’t the comments supposed to show up when you open the post from the admin > posts > all posts section?
I’ll have a dig around in my theme to see what I’ve missed.

Hi, I’m in the process of following a tutorial on WordPress theme development and am noticing that comments to posts are not displaying. I am happy to note that this is in some way theme related, however, if I click on the post in the admin > posts > all posts section, the comments aren’t displayed here either, regardless of the theme in use.
