Are you seeing the comments section below the doc, and submission is failing, or is the comments section not showing at all?
The comment settings are set on a per-doc basis, can you double-check that your doc is set to allow comments? See here for the access settings on a doc’s edit page:

In the documents it is set as in the picture. The comments section is not present.
Comments are activated and the post of the blog works perfectly.
