Comments not working for old posts

    For some reasons comments have been switched off or aren’t working on old posts on my website. If I publish new posts it is working fine. I’ve check individual and overall settings and comments are switched on. I uninstalled jetpack to see if it would make a difference but it didn’t.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi @beornn,

    Thanks for getting in touch!

    Do you mind checking under Settings > Discussion, and seeing if “Automatically close comments on articles older than X days” is enabled?

    Hopefully disabling this setting will do the trick for you.
