I just noticed I am having a strange issue with my comments. In a recent comment on my blog, I can read the actual comment on the back end and everything looks fine. However, on the front end it is showing the standard “This is a comment” when you first start using wordpress. I thought Askimet may have been causing the issue, but after deactivating it, the problem still persists.
First off, try flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/or browser caches. Also, any op cache or content network cache, as well as Cloudflare, clear those caches.
