Comments on add file form

Hi,

Here are two feedbacks from my users on the Add File form, using latest version of WP-Filebase:

1. when we enter a title to the file and then we upload the file, the title we entered is getting replaced by the filename once the upload is complete, so we need to enter the title again. Highly frustrating.

2. on the Add File advanced form, the rights, when inherited from the category, are displayed a few moments after the form display (probably an Ajax request is being made to retrieve them based on the category). I had users adding files with the wrong rights even though they selected a category. I am not sure this Ajax request is the culprit, but imagine this request does not complete and user adds the file (assigned to the right category), then what happens? If the file does not get the category rights because of this ajax request that did not complete, this is a bug, which can actually be quite problematic if users don’t double check the rights after insertion (most don’t).

Besides this the software is great, I am submitting those as requests for enhancement of the software. Thanks.
