Comments published before approval?

    I have my WP Comments set up so that I get notified BEFORE a comment is visible on my site.

    I installed Discuz for the ability to allow guests to upload photos with comments.

    Now, when I test the system, any comment on any page gets published without me knowing about it, I don’t get any message, and it’s only when I comment on the original unauthorized post that I get notified about the second.

    I do not wish any postings to go live until I at least see them, and preferably, not going live and being viewable until I OK the post.

    What have I not set on my Settings for WP Discuz to make this happen, please?

    Hi @wrw51,
    Please another time go to Dashboard > Settings > Discussions admin page and make sure the options are set correctly:

    Email me whenever
    [No] – Anyone posts a comment
    [Yes] – A comment is held for moderation

    Before a comment appears
    [Yes] – Comment must be manually approved
    [No] – Comment author must have a previously approved comment.

    Also please let me know what wpDiscuz Addons you use.
