• I use Elementor’s “posts comments” widget to put the comment section (I prefer using Elementor’s widget because I can change its background color and also I can put it where I want). But when I save and preview the page, WordPress’ default comment section is also added at the very bottom. I do want to show comments section but not twice (once by ELementor and second time by WordPress). How can I delete WordPress’ comments section, while showing Elementor’s comments widget?? I cannot disable comments, because both parts will disappear. I use the Astra (free) theme if it’s important.

  • Hello @sunflowerhk

We would need to know some more details!

Maybe you are using the Elementor Pro version. So, if you want to use the Elementor Post Comments widget then the best way is to use Elementor Single page template and create a blog archive page. Then it will automatically disable the WordPress comments.

If that doesn’t solve your problem then you may follow this guide to disable the comments section manually.

Let me know how it works from your end. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi, I’ve a problem with full-width layout that is not showing comment section, the comment section re-appear only after I’ve changed to default layout.

How do I enable the comment box in full-width Elementor? Looking forward to your assistance. Thanks!

    Hello @skyeleesk,

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to enable the comments section into the Elementor full-width template.

Because Elementor doesn’t allow these features into the free version, and this will be not working on any default WordPress theme as well.

So, if you want to use these features, then you will have to use the Elementor’s Pro version.

Let us know if there is anything else that I can help you with.

    Regards
    Riad
