Hello Mark. We’re having an issue that I hope you might be able to help with.

The default setting for new posts on our website is to allow comments and pings–e.g. if I create a new post in WordPress, comments and pings are set to ON.

However, when we “make live” or “make draft” a training post, the draft post opens with comments and pings OFF.

I have looked for a setting in MyCurator options that might be relevant but have not found anything.

Might you have a suggestion? Thanks very much, Jan

Yes, it was brought to our attention earlier (maybe you?). We are testing it and we are hoping to have it in this next release in a couple of weeks or so as well as some changes for WP 4.5. Thanks

We’ve just posted version 2.5 of MyCurator which uses the current comments and pingback defaults that you set in your MyCurator dashboard (Settings/Discussion) when creating posts with Make Live or Make Draft from the training posts. It will also use these defaults with the Get It tool.
