• Man, there are SO many posts about this problem, yet still no definitive answer that works for everyone. The problem is this: When someone clicks the “Add Comment” button, a blank page comes up. It appears it is calling to the wp-comments-post.php file, but nothing happens. The file is there, in my WP directory, but it’s not working.

Reading ALL of the posts on this problem (most of which are over six years old), I have tried every last thing. I’ve installed the latest version of WordPress. I’ve disabled all plugins. I’ve enabled comments both for the entire blog and for each post individually. My permalinks are set to default. I’ve tried all three default WP themes. I’ve re-upped fresh copies of both the comments.php and the wp-comments-post.php file. I’ve tried resetting the permissions. NOTHING works!! Comments still will NOT post. I’ve been trying to solve this problem for over a month and finding no concrete answer to solve the problem has me more than frustrated. Many thanks to the Techy Angel who finally helps me solve this problem.

PLEASE help! My site is: http://writeon.atspace.cc

    – Unfortunately, your currently used “barbie” theme is not in the ww.wp.xz.cn/themes/ directory:
    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/themes/search/barbie/

    – These forums are for free themes available in the WordPress theme directory at ww.wp.xz.cn/themes/. So please contact the developer/vendor directly for support with your question. You’ll be more likely to find a good answer from them, for they have the access to its code. Forum volunteers are not given access to commercial/custom products, so they would not know why your /custom/commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. The developers/vendors are responsible for supporting their custom/commercial product. See http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Forum_Welcome#Commercial_Products

I have contacted my theme developer and even gave him access to my dashboard. He determined that the problem was NOT with the theme but with WordPress, since the same problem exists when using the default WordPress themes as well.
