    Good evening,

    I set Fixed charge and Percent charge but paypal calculates the commission on the gross price and not the net price.

    Hi,

    it looks like you don’t have set up taxes properly, play around with them or add them as a coefficient into the final price calculation.

    Hi Carolina,

    prices are already included in fees.

    However, in Extra Charge, I set Fixed charge at 0.35 (paypal transaction cost in Italy) and Percent charge at 3.4% (payapal commission in Italy).

    I’ll explain what happens:

    For example, the product costs € 30

    Calculation of the finished price including paypal taxes: € 30 * (1 + 3.4%) + 0.35 = € 31.37
    It’s ok!

    But paypal does this type of calculation: € 31.37 * (1-3.4%) – 0.35 = € 29.95

    The final commission calculated by paypal is not € -1.37 but € -1.42

    Ah, I see. Unfortunately, there is no way how to achieve it. Paypal is calculating the fee after you have set the final price which a client pays. Add a bigger fee to get covered or keep supporting your clients paying this small difference.
