    Hello,

    This plugin is for exposing data that already exists in WordPress to the WordPress REST API. So while yes you can most certainly talk to a MongoDB using WordPress but that is outside of the scope of this particular support forum. I would check out WP GraphQL you could use that to pull other data sources into WordPress and then you can access that data through Javascript or php.
