Compare to redirect plugin

    Hi there. I already have a “301 redirect” plugin installed on my page, and thought about manually redirecting the author pages to the custom author page URL’s with a manual 301 redirect. Is there any good reason to use “WP Custom Author URL” instead?

    The plugin will give you tidier links that do not require a redirect to be put in place, and also the settings give you some flexibility over the author links. I’d recommend giving it a try, to find out what you prefer.
