    Please verify compatibility of Google-Sitemap-Generator plugin with WordPress v. 4.4.2.
    There is a message on the plugin for notification that it is not compatible with my current version of WordPress (4.4.2). I do see in the forum that 14 people said it was compatible, but it appears that a good many people had problems with it as well.

    Please note – my site is under construction. I would very much like to have this plugin but only if it’s working properly.
