Compatibility issue with Divi theme

The problem:

The plugin’s login widget stopped working completely on all my membership sites running the Divi theme (currently one of the most popular WP themes). When credentials are provided (no matter if they are correct or not), it redirects to the default wp-login screen.

This started on version 3.0.80. When I first updated Divi from 3.0.79 to 3.0.80, the login widget redirected to a 404 error page. On versions released in the following days, its current behaviour commenced and persists after all updates.

I posted this problem on Divi’s support forum and they directed me to ask the plugin developers and “If they suggest anything specific to be done from our side, Please let us know, I can forward the info to the dev team and We can check it further”.

Could you help me with this? Thanks in advance.

I could reproduce a similar issue with Divi 3.0.85 from my end, the widget login is redirected to the wp-login.php page and users are not logged. And the shortcode is redirecting to /login/ page which shows 404 error.

I’ve informed our developers about this conflict. Once a fix will be available we will update this thread.

Hope you’re well!

Please replace the custom.min.js file with the one located in this directory /wp-content/themes/Divi/js/custom.min.js

Also would you please contact Elegant theme about it as the changes will be lost after theme update.

It’s working great!

I’ve already contacted Elegant Themes’ support team to ask if the fix can be applied to future Divi versions.

Oooops, I got the same problem but with Elegants Extra Theme and just asked for a refund…

Thanks for posting this because I really liked the theme.

I will try this and see if it will fix it because I don’t want to replace Membership 2 because it’s so good.

Hopefully Elegant Themes will update their plugin soon, thanks for the work Nastia.

Hello Nastia,

In recent updates this fix stopped working. I have contacted Elegant Themes customer support but the issue has not been addressed yet. Would you be able to tell me the specific code that is causing conflict?

Hope all is well!

Unfortunately, this is an issue that is coming from the Divi premium theme. Please contact Divi’s theme developers, they should fix it on their side. At the moment another hot-fix is not available. I will update this thread once there will be an update from our developers.
